Dr. Rhys is a graduate of the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) and a member of the British Chiropractic Association.

“Chiropractic has opened many new avenues for me, and as someone who always tries to find new and innovative ways to improve the body, chiropractic was the obvious choice. Prior to choosing chiropractic as a degree, my initial plans were to study conventional modern medicine. However, after discussions with various medical doctors I had soon found a leak within our healthcare system. A leak which highlights the lack of preventative care and the over saturated use of symptomatic care. This persuaded me to pursue a career in alternative medicine focusing on preventative care pioneered by the latest research in Neuro-Musculoskeletal Health.

My approach to modern chiropractic treatment is a holistic one. I will use Functional Neurology to assess and treat the body, creating synergy between the body and the brain. Functional neurology allows me to gain a better insight as to how the nervous system functions on a deeper level and how improvements can be made to posture, balance, coordination and movement. Beyond the clinical setting of treating the general public, I also spend my time working with professional sports teams climbing my way towards helping elite athletes!

Oleg was inspired to become a chiropractor after sustaining a lower back injury during his career as an elite rower. After experiencing many types of treatments by various practitioners, he found that chiropractic helped him the most, setting him back on track to represent his national team at international competitions. After retiring from professional sport, Oleg was determined to use chiropractic as a tool to help others lead healthy and active lives.

Oleg graduated from AECC University College with a Master of Chiropractic (MChiro) degree. On top of his university studies, Oleg has attended many additional chiropractic courses, studying a diverse range of techniques. He is a member of the United Chiropractic Association.

Oleg is particularly interested in a holistic approach that connects the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of the body. He believes in patient-centred care, tailoring treatment methods specifically to each person’s unique needs.

Given his previous experience as an athlete and coach, Oleg has a special interest in sport. He is also passionate about working with pregnant and paediatric populations, having completed a paediatric internship working with newborns and children, as well as several modules related to paediatric and pregnancy treatment.

Oleg is a keen cyclist and enjoys yoga. He speaks English, Hebrew, and Russian.

 Kay Eggleton

Kay started massaging family and friends about 20 years ago and they encouraged her to go on a massage course.  She took her first course in Swedish Body Massage in 2012 and has since completed both Level 3 and Leval 4 courses in Sports Massage Therapy, as well as CPD courses in massaging patients with cancer and upper body injuries.  Kay started working at the clinic on Saturdays in May 2014 whilst working as an Exams Officer at a local secondary school. Finally biting the bullet in 2022 she left the world of education and now has appointments available on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon and Saturday mornings.  Kay is a qualified Level 3 Pilates teacher and sees clients on a one to one basis in their own home; she is hoping to start a chair Pilates class for less mobile clients at the clinic in the near future.  Kay is also a rower and trains 5-6 days a week, as well as coaching juniors at Weybridge Rowing Club.

Having now worked at Shepperton Chiropractic for almost 10 years, Kay is experienced in working closely with the Chiropractors and tailoring her massage to suit the patients' specific needs.

I was in so much pain last week I couldn’t imagine that I would feel this much better in 7 days
Heather Penncock

I first went to Mika About 2 months ago. I could not walk straight line or very far. I was also in pain as I have had two knee replacements. After about 3 weeks I can now walk upright and in a straight line. Also a lot of pain relief. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

I have been working with Dr Mika Janhunen of Shepperton Chirorpactic Clinic for four years. During this time he has not only been able to help me overcome various niggling injuries and to enjoy better health, but has been able to improve the performance of a number of my golf coaching clients as well. His detailed knowledge of the human body and the complexity of the golf swing movement pattern is virtually unrivalled in terms of results that I have ever seen. I will continue to refer my players to see Mika, and would encourage anyone to do the same.
